Best of luck to Havoc Nation. I have a lot of respect for Shaka Smart, hopefully we can see a D-Ham/ Larrier matchup in the 2014 dance.

Dang would have been a nice pickup. He's a great player. At least he went to an up and coming program over a school like UK, UF, etc. I guess its Robinson and Colson now. Make it happen KO!

From a VCU Fan:

I want to say how impressed I am with your fans. You guys are, for the most part, classy and it's refreshing. Many wouldn't take the news with such grace. Good luck in the future.

You too my friend. Look forward to seeing you in the big dance. #HAVOC

Robinson has become an absolute must. Without him we're going to be very short-handed at the 3/4 in 2014, and this will have been a very disappointing summer after a promising spring.

Not shocking, Robinson will hurt more if he goes elsewhere. This one only hurts because UConn was close at the end. As with Abu, good late run but missing a good portion of early talent evaluation last year and this spring killed UConn.

Robinson UConn has been on forever (like Hamilton).

This hurts considerably less than Abu, but this one was clean all the way, from what I hear.

It is a good pick up for college hoops in general...

Robinson and Larrier are comparable talents.

Sad we lost him, but wish Larrier and VCU best of luck. VCU reminds me of Uconn (in the early Calhoun years) and Shaka is a great coach.

In the end it really comes down to Larrier vs. Devin Robinson. I don't think we would have got both so if we end up landing Robinson after this we are still good.

Best of luck to TL. Would've been a great get, but at least it's nice to see a guy of his ranking picking a VCU instead of the Kentuckys and Dukes of the world. Just wish it wasn't at our expense.

You never want to say you NEED a recruit but to solidify what looked to be shaping up as a fantastic class, we need a commitment from Devin Robinson.

Good luck to TL and congrats to VCU! But this is not surprising. He has been a VCU lean for what seemed like forever and just got back from his last official. Does anyone really think he left Richmond on Sunday without privately committing to Shaka? This latest "on the fence" drama was to fluff up the commitment a bit.

We don't NEED anyone who doesn't want to play for a National Championship program like UConn...........If Robinson decides to play in Storrs, great.......if not NEXT..........

They will begin to flow back here again I promise........whatever is happening - negative recruiting, loss of the early spring and summer months on the road, whatever KO and his staff will WIN these battles again. Patience my friends........

I agree, good for VCU.

Robinson and Larrier are comparable but very different IMO. Robinson is much more of Rudy Gay type while Larrier reminds me more of Matt Barnes. Both athletic, but in different ways.

I've wanted Robinson or Oubre for awhile (even though Oubre is unlikely).
