Everyone ok? Disaster here in brookfield. Some talk of tornado. 5 trees down including one leaning on my roof. No power.
Suffield here. We didn’t have nearly the intense winds your area had but did have golf ball+ sized hail breaking car windshields etc

My street in Danbury.I'm in Brookfield too and this was either a microburst or tornado. Trees snapped and uprooted everywhere. Very scary storm.

Here in Manchester we were in some kind of bubble.
Near MHS/Shady Glen. Things were bad from Tolland eastward and we had tornado warnings at work in East Hartford. Go to Lucky Taco a lot. Great beer list, good food.Same here, Im on Glastonbury/Manchester line. Just some decent rain and a little thunder. Didnt realize things got so bad elsewhere.
Where in Manchester are you, Dream Jobbed? I was just at Lucky taco last night. Also a regular at Silk City Coffee
Worst storm aftermath I've ever seen around here. I haven't lost power for more than a couple hours in 4-5 years and now they're saying we will be lucky to have it back by Thursday
7- 14 days, bah. During Sandy, by week 3 with power out society completely broke down, children became feral, neighbors were taking out neighbors for a cup of gasoline.try being with out power for 7-14 days
Sandy, Irene, the winter storm on Halloween one of those same years
2 days is nothing. Hopefully there not much damage to your property

Irene, fall 2011. Was a senior at UConn and thus most people I knew were out in apartments somewhere. I remember cedar ridge getting it the worst between both storms. I was at Oak something, the apartments next to Hilltop so I was probably getting campus power and only lost it for a couple hoursthe winter storm on Halloween one of those same years
I grilled outside last night and watched the Celtics. The illuminati overlords dont let storms enter Glastonbury
