There was a previous thread on this impressive feat. The Stonington team was playing Norwich Free Academy, a larger school, and one with a strong softball tradition. As a follow-up,, Fitch High in Groton beat NFA yesterday, 5-0, with the Fitch pitcher recording 16 strikeouts. So, in two games, 37 of 42 outs recorded by NFA have come by strikeout. Time for hitting practice!
