OT: State Championship games concludes at 12:10 am local time

Does that happen in other states? The Washington 3A (second highest division) title game just concluded. That seems ridiculously late. There are whole bunch of games going on during the day, but still. If anyone is slightly interested Gig Harbor wins their first ever Championship, edging powerhouse Garfield of Seattle (who added a boys Championship hours earlier).

The latest championship games here in NC tip off around 7:30pm.

Saturday night? Meh...

My son once played a baseball game in a tournament at 2:30 AM and the kids 12/u, all were pumped up to be playing this during summer vacation...a Saturday night after a day of championships is not a concern.
