New Jersey's first crack at sports betting is blocked.

I would welcome lawyers to weigh in on this, because I was really surprised this injunction was granted. I would think that a law that expressly discriminates against all but 4 states and grants those 4 states a sports betting monopoly would be ruled unconstitutional per the 14th Amendment, but this one has survived and now got an injunction.
I think Vegas must be terrified of this, because they get a lot of east coast business around sporting events, and if there is a drivable East Coast alternative, Vegas will take a hit. Still, you can't discriminate against certain states just because it will make Vegas unhappy.
