2) based on the hint, there was a 60's band called the Critters... afraid I'm drawing a blank on their songs, though

1..Frank remains with us; he has Everything but the Girl. Poor Frank.

2..The Critters with Mr. Dieingly Sad. Oh, however did you miss that?

3..Mitch Ryder & the Detroit Wheels--Devil with the Blue Dress. Meyers & Zorro with group & song.

4..Silly ol' bear sees with his "Heavenly Shades" for "Twilight Time", a Platters hit. Poalo too.

5..I didn't catch what you were doing right away, zorro, so yes to the Taylor family, without Lawrence or Zachery.

6..Rbny & K9 identify La Traviata.

7..Mr006 thinks Spanky & our Gang doesn't need Alfalfa. Lazy Day.

8..Meyers sometimes has trouble with his self-image for possessing certain knowledge.
Frank, K9 Poalo & VAUC are untroubled in selecting Janet Jackson.

9..Yes, Ronnie & the Daytonas sang GTO, thanks to K9, who years ago let her hair fly in a sports car.

10..Zorro & Poalo fix on We Are Family by Sister Sledge.

11..Melissa Manchester asked us "Don't Cry Out Loud". Why didn't you get the message?

12..You blew another one too. Get the Kinks out.

13..More crying--husky has Tears for Fears, like in Everybody Wants to Rule the World (me too).

Wait -- are you implying I'm old? I'm hurt! :)

Purely a guess -- worked it backwards. Most famous beach? Daytona. Car song? All I could think of was the Beach Boys song about taking the T-Bird away and a vague memory of a GTO song.

Oh and it's only been 2 years since I gave up my sports car (dog needed more room).

Are we ever going to have a quiz focusing on '80s music? That would be fun.

(She asks) Am I getting old? Oh, no...not you. I was on time. No, you were late.
Ah, yes, I remember it well.

Now you guys are a rock and a hard place. Eighties music, yay!!! Eighties music, nay!!!
What's a poor testmeister to do?
