she played... at UConn which holds a ton of weight. She may have brung over tons of knowledge that they can use

Can you imagine the weight it carries to Michala's teammates to hear her tell them they are not going hard enough in practice ; or that they are not putting in enough time, All the time knowing that her old team just won the NC? They all may know that she didn't play a lot at UConn but they all know she had a ton of talent in front of her. Naming her a co-captain was probably a good move for the team as well as for team spirit. Who better to be a team leader than a UConn Husky , or the next best thing, an ex-UConn Husky.

Vowel, the coaches and/or the team must have seen something in her practice habits or her play........ They also know that she has far more experience than anyone else on the team in knowing what it may take to get to a FF since Wisconsin hasn't been there lately.

Plus, when you look back at the recent past , just about every UConn player that ever transferred went on to be a leader on their new team, Samarie Walker, EDD , etc...UConn players are just respected .
