[QUOTE="Demo Square, post: 5309927, member: 10861"] Hey Guys, At 75, I truly miss days like this from the 60's: All day out on L.I. at the LUHI basketball camp learning from greats like Knight, Carnesseca, Layden, van Breda Kolf, Clair Bee, Visscher, Kress, Gugliotta, Morris, Rossini, etc. And I miss those care-free NY teenager bus rides home to the city from camp. Not a care in the world. Great fun & camaraderie! Pitching a late afteroon/evening no-hitter in Babe Ruth League after camp all day. Then, scoring 40 points in a late summer league hoops game after camp & pitching. Then, playing pickup hoops on lighted outdoor courts off West Side Drive @ W83rd St. uptown til 1-2A with really great hooper friends. Finally, Pigging out at the diner after all those things going on that day. AND STILL....I had the energy to do ANYTHING, non-stop! Next day...get up early & do it again. Now - I get up all night to pee. Ha! It aint fair. But I was so lucky to have so many "salad" days like the one descibed above. Enjoy & appreciate ALL YOUR GREAT SUMMER DAYS, FRIENDS!
