Why would they? Is it mandatory? They have discovered kryptonite (perhaps for 3 more games). Using it would not be cheating, hell I'm sure the owner has made much more shrewd decisions.

Magic said that the Boston Garden was similar, is that true?

I don't think SAS enjoyed playing in those conditions either, you can't bank on LBJ cramping up in every game

Yeah don't get greedy. Just read this (not necessarily a guarantee, but confident):

NBA executive Rod Thorn said the AT&T center is confident the air conditioning problem will be fixed by then.

“We think it will be fixed come Sunday and we will be able to play under normal conditions,” he said.

NBA Commish:
"If the air temp rises above 75 on the court, we'll find another venue at which to play. People around the world aren't spending their money to see the Spurs blow out the Heat-LBJ."

I recall hearing on ESPN last night that the air conditioner was up and running an hour or two after the game ended.

My conspiracy theory is there wasn't any problem with the A/C. The Spurs know Lebron has had problems with cramping in the past and turned off the A/C. Lebron requested during the 2012 finals that Miami turn the A/C up in the building so he didn't cramp up.

That's not a conspiracy theory, if you want that imagine if that happens again in Game 7

In the former and only real Boston Garden the Celtics were accused many times by the Fakers of turning off the AC in the visiting locker room during the Finals. Having become a Celtic fan before most of you were born I may be slightly biased but I cannot imagine Red Aurebach or K.C. Jones stooping this low - now the Garden staff that's another issue:cool:

They could easily use the Alamodome (site of our 2004 NCAA title) if it came to it. So they can't get too cute about it.

Guess he doesn't know the same people I do.
