This must be the biggest SHU crowd I've ever seen. Playing afternoon games looks like a wise decision. Atlantic Hockey is poised to grow well.

It's not as if I forgot the game against ASU in Danbury last year. At least several hundred, my guess, game is very well produced, too. The arena is taking care of SHU. Jumbotron is well utilized.

That's good. Between SHU and AIC playing in arena type settings now and the AHC offering full scholarship numbers that conference is upping it's game like you said.

The box score kind of speaks for how inspired the team played from the 2nd period on. 4-4, final, SHU outshooting Union. Only 1 or 2 shots in the first period.

SHU has better facilities than a lot of colleges now.

CJ is a good coach... if they continue to give him the resources, he will grow the program.

He seems very excited about the resources he has at hand. This will be interesting.

I might have been wrong about shots on goal, Jumbotron said otherwise. Checked box score, no attendance figures so far.

AIC had 1,204 for their game against Union last night. They'd normally get 120.4 people for a game at the Olympia Ice Center.

You guys might want to check out SHU games now. I'll miss the concessions stands at the Milford Ice Pavilion, though.

    Attendance: 1,181

If SHU starts winning more often, that number should grow.
