What music would you play:

I wanted to be high brow and think this certainly is:

But I got to thinking that this tone might be more appropriate: sorta an announcement to the rest of WCBB.

Maybe the perfect blend:

Geno singing "I'm Sittin' On Top of the World."

Players under CD's direction rehearsing "We Will, We Will Rock You!" and "We Are The Champions!" for likely future use, possibly on short notice.;)

One thing is for sure, we'll be singing something. Either We're sittin on top of the world, or I've got dem down home blues. ;)

It feels like the first time by Foreigner. Because it will feel like the first time when we won our only championship in 2001.

Some great suggestions, and I love the premise, but I wouldn't have started with the Beethoven. The greatest is a tough act to follow.

I did sorta open the question with the answer didn't I. Ode to Joy is a tough act to follow is it not? Alle menschen, alle menschen... though the Hallelujah Chorus is pretty right on too.

Then, too, I was thinking someone would remember the stirring finale of Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture.

Not to be a downer, but a little humility before the unknown and unknowable future:

As long as we're ignoring the whole mojo thing.
