I love Game of Thrones for several reasons. The cinematography is amazing. It's like watching a Lord of the Rings movie each week. The story line is really good and keeps me wanting to find out what happens next and surprises me often. There are characters you can really like (Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryan, and others) and there are characters you can really hate (Cercei Lannister, Joffrey Baratheon, and others). There are also characters in the middle, who you might at first hate and then learn more about and have some sympathy for (Jaime and Tyrion Lannister come to mind). While there is too much sex and nudity for good taste, it seems it has toned down a lot. The first season's brothel scenes were truly pornographic. In the current season so far, there has been one sex scene and the guy was a eunuch. But there is a fast forward button if you record the show. Hopefully this explicit sex in everything era passes by as people tire of it and we can get on with good storytelling. Still, the show is for me probably the most enjoyable program on TV.
