I like what Lagavulin brings to the table and have yet to find its equal as far a something as pleasing to the palate in well over a decade of consumption so I haven't felt the need to get into deep dives. I've probably tried >50 scotches over the past 25 years and have been to distilleries over there. "Fanboy", indeed. I certainly don't have your expertise on the subject as I can no longer afford to buy bottles I might not like. But I don't think I'm going to calibrate very well with this site. [/QUOTE]
