20th annual SantaCon in NYC today. Hoboken / JC also. Penn Station at 10am -> all bars in town to closing. No booze on NH RR today for those heading to Newark. Wear your Santa suit! Also big shopping day.

I did it one year in Stamford and one year in NYC and both times it was like going to a bar. So now I just go to bars in normal clothes.

Left my apartment to go grab a bagel this morning and there was a feeling of pure dread when I saw that first 23-year old in a Santa onesie drunkenly stumbling down the street at 10:30 am. One of the worst days of the year for those of us living in the city.
