The president of Pederasty State U says that the school has reached out to all the abuse victims in the hopes of reaching a PRIVATE civil settlement with them. I bet it has. If I were a victim, as much as I might love the money, the key would be an open admission of guilt. Nothing less. I hope the victims demand as part of a settlement that PSU loudly and clearly admits institutional guilt for what happened, that what it did was immoral and unconscionable and that there is no way the school could ever fully compensate them for what that freak did to them.

Perhaps the president had to make this offer but still, what a whore to try and sweep this under the astro turf. As much as PSU wants to limit the financial damage, just as big is the school's desire to put all this behind with WITHOUT EVER HAVING TO ADMIT CULPABILITY. It was all Sandusky. Look he's prison. Let's move on. Uh-uh. The biggest punishment by far for Pederasty State will be having to admit institutional guilt for what happened. When it does this it will have reached rock bottom in the whole mess and only then can begin rebuilding itself.
