OT: Sad headline that hits close to home

Janelle Atkinson Wignall was an assistant coach at UConn for 2 years 2012-14 prior to being the Fairfield University Head Coach. Her contract at Fairfield was not renewed after it's initial 3 years was done. Stonybrook hired her immediately. Whether they checked with Fairfield U or whether Fairfield could or would not say what occurred is unknown. The fact that we here on the BY have spoken about "abuse" and what constitutes it, this can shed some light on what is still occurring within D1 sports. I am at a loss of words.
