OT - Russell Westbrook out

Looks like Westbrook is out until All Star break. Big blow to The Thunder as they try to achieve a top seed out West. Reggie Jackson & Jeremy Lamb will really need to step up their production. Heck, even the relic Derek Fisher is going to play more, if he holds up. I can see them possibly looking for a 3rd PG in order to keep Fisher's minutes down.

What a shame. A great player and a thrill to watch.

We may be in the midst of a D.Rose R.Westbrook phenomenon in which guys are too explosive for their own bodies. I know RW was hurt in a freak accident when a guy went for a steal, but it may be the kind of thing where these guys put so much torque on their joints that they can't be 100% after any significant knee injury.

I hope he gets back to 100%.
