Along with his dad, HOF Ed Sabol, now 96 years old, Steve left an indelible mark on the world of football and sport in general. College football player, art history major, filmmaker, producer, storyteller, Steve "transformed NFL Films from simple chroniclers of the game to epic myth-makers."

One of Steve's favorite quotes, learned at college:
