OT: RIP Greg Lake

It's a shame that ELP was never inducted into the Rock HOF. Emerson, Lake and Palmer was a favorite of mine. Sadly, we've lost Keith Emerson and now Greg Lake in the same year.
Rock n roll HOF is not a fan of prog rock, Yes is not in either. Both should be in but they aren't. Many interesting websites on HOF snubs. Consensus seems to believe that Yes will get in before ELP for what that's worth. Personally I enjoyed Yes more but no doubt they should both be in by now. My favorite ELP songs are Karn Evil #9 and Fanfare.

I was just watching a ton of ELP concert footage the other day. I guy I play guitar with wants to do a version of From the Beginning. I was blown away by all the great footage of Lake playing and singing solo. Guy was an immense talent and incredible songwriter. He was also a founding member of King Crimson.

From the Beginning
Lucky Man
Still You Turn Me On
Knife Edge
21st Century Schizoid Man
Court of the Crimson King
Epitaph (apropos right now)

Saw them several times in concert
Always a great show
RIP Greg - you provided some really great music

.-.
Is it true he was in Bob Segers band?

Around 1977 when Seger's manager was tired of Greg he asked Bob, "Who's gonna go fire Lake?"
