CCSU really needs to dominate the NEC this year. They've looked the part thus far. The conference is on terrible footing, and if it falls apart, being a public school with recent success will be good for their prospects.
Every CCSU fans has been begging to get out of the NEC for years. We're a public school in a private school conference. Been quietly trying to get into the America East for a a while now. The AE contains more of our "peer" schools--and they're schools that people in Connecticut are familiar with like Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Albany, UMBC, UMass-Lowell, etc. Unless you're a Central fan, who tf wants to attend a game at Detrick to see CCSU play Chicago St....LeMoyne...SFU....Mercyhurst?! No one.

please Husky Nation...send some positive vibes our way so we can win the NEC, go to the NCAA Tournament, and get out of the NEC. I honestly think this is the year it could happen.
