Pint glass, fill with ice, four fingers of gin, rest tonic, and squeeze a lime wedge. Repeat til you can no longer pour liquor. Great summer drink

As for the grapefruit suggestions, I see it as a winter drink because my grapefruit tree produced starting around thanksgiving. Fresh squeezed grapefruit with vodka is so tasty and clean. Might want to add a dash of sweetener depending on the grapefruit tartness.

I'm absolutely on board with all the gin suggestions, though I do like to swap the tonic with ginger ale now and then.

I'm not a big tequila guy, but this was a hit at our last cookout - beer-ritas. 3 lighter beers, 8 oz. tequila, and a can of frozen limeade concentrate all go in to a pitcher. Mix, pour, drink... Nice on a hot day.

Gin or vodka goes well over ice with Fresca. No always easy to find in the store. Also calorie free for those watching the calories.

I love good vodka. Throw a shot or two in a bottle of G2 or Powerade zero calorie when golfing, boating or hanging out poolside. I am amazed by how much better I feel after drinking in the heat with this concoction. Minimal headache or other symptoms. I attribute it to vodka being a clean liquor and the electrolytes/hydration. The diet sport drink keeps you from having a sugar crash or sour stomach. Not high class but highly effective in the summer heat.

Give me Jack and Coke with a lime in any other environment.

How about a Sonic Coconut Cream Slush topped with some Coconut Rum or Dark Rum.

Citron vodka, San Pellegrino lemon water and lemon slices... it makes a refreshing lemonade.

Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter..... Bombay Sapphire Martini, up, extremely dry with one olive is my gin drink of choice.

Got a Raspberry Lime Coolata at DD the other day. Begs for some tequila, haven't done it yet though.

For all mixing with Tonic, take a gander at the nutritional label before pouring your next one. I'm not a Gin guy, but the Tonic is a deal breaker. Switch out tonic for sodium free club soda or seltzer and you have a winner, especially with vodka or scotch. Fresh brewed Ice Tea (sweetened with Splenda) and Vodka is also a little slice of heaven, add a hint of Lemon to make your Arnold Palmer into a John Daly...Enjoy.
