On ABC on the hardcourts of the Paribas Open after the first semi, where John Isner is taking Novakto a 3rd set tiebreaker. RIGHT NOW.

Though it is exciting that he beat Novak today. He's also the guy who beat Roger...and in Switzerland in Davis Cup.

The early TV coverage gave the impression that Rafa-Roger was this afternoon. NOT SO...ON RIGHT NOW.

Isner is from my city.... I remember reading about him in high school.... and I was thinking at that height... he was 6'7 and his serve... that he might have a chance to make it to the pro tour if he developed in college. Never imagined him being in the top 10. Glad he won today.... it was an exciting match

Actually, announcers say he's 6'9".

Yeah.... I was meaning he was 6'7 when i first heard of him in high school. Not sure if he grew the 2 more inches in college... or during his senior year of high school. He seems like a good kid....... hopefully I'll get to see him play this summer at the ATP event over in Winston Salem.
