OT: Rachel Fico was the overall first selection

in the NPF ( national pro fastpitch) draft yesterday. she was selected by the Akron Racers. this is the only women's fast pitch league in the country. she's 18-5 for 13th ranked LSU.

Akron also selected a player from Arizona, Brigitte del Ponte, probably our best player.

Sadly, Arizona is having an "off" year.
