Assistant at BC for two years and then eight years as an assistant to Rollie Massimino at Villanova. He was highly thought of and became head coach at Fairfield in 1985, had a great first year (24-7) and many UConn fans wished he'd been hired that year to replace Dom Perno. Buonaguro never had a winning season again and was fired after five straight losing seasons. Kevin Ollie has a lot to prove this year and I for one am hoping he proves all of us wrong and turns the team around.
