Writers need a crash course in UConn sports.

I didn't realize McFarland was a Connecticut guy. Somebody needs to reach out to him regarding the Hartford Civic Center naming opportunity. The Family Guy Center would be awesome, but "The Orville Arena" would be entirely acceptable. The point of the reference is that we don’t have a D1 lax team. Seth McFarland is from Connecticut after all. It’s the same reason Wichita State football has been referenced on the show - it doesn’t exist any longer
Then you'll want to check out the Thanksgiving episode where Peter and Brian go to Highland Park Market in Manchester to pick up the turkey...I didn't realize McFarland was a Connecticut guy. You are correct. And he went to college at Rhode Island School of Design which explains the Rhode Island references.McFarlane is from Kent iirc
Because he spends every show mocking Rhode Islanders?"Connecticut" guy but made his show take place in RI
The accent and the behavior is far more reflective of Rhode Island. Rhode Island is a really interesting place full of characters. It’s truly unique.Because he spends every show mocking Rhode Islanders?
