I'm shocked that Penn state fans didn't sell this thing out, coupled with a good regional rival with a big local following as well.

Then again, 95 and 75 seem pretty steep for the casual fan.

The original ticket price ($75, $95) is outrageous. How stupid do they think the public is? Probably add another $30 for parking.

If you're a fan, you find a way. I used to go to the Kickoff Classics at Giants stadium in the 80's just to see big time football. Saw Wisky, Tennessee, Nebraska, among other (I think, it was a while ago). This is not an attractive matchup, at any price. I would maybe hate watch it on tv if nothing better was on.

that's where both teams lose by a wide margin, and then a meteor hits the stadium to take care of the fans?
That would be yes.

It's simple supply and demand.

We learned this lesson in the 90's with the first "U-Game" at the HCC. Place was half empty because the tickets were outrageous.

Well that and the fact that without Camby it wasn't much of game.

As a PSU fan, would I want to travel to the Meadowlands and pay double the price? Or see a game at State College where the pre-and-post game festivities are great and the cost is $50 fr a ticket? Hmmmmmm.
