thanks medic, going to root for Morgan and St. Joes. saw both teams this year along with Newsome. Might go to the Newtown ridgefield game on Tuesday, should be some good games

my picks…... I like Darien vs New Canaan in the Class L final. St Joes should take the Class M championship but Joel Barlow with that kid Shaban will be a tough out. Ansonia in Class S as always. I will not be surprised if Ridgefield beats Newtown in Class LL, they are much better than advertised. If Ridgefield does win tomorrow night then I think it's them and West Haven in the final, though Hall and Southington could be tough outs.
Still think New Canaan has the best team in the state, even though the concussion their QB has, has taken some of the wind out of their sails.

I understand St Joe's puts up good numbers in the air and if they win could face the triple option of Barlow. a fascinating matchup that could keep St. Joe's defense on the field unless they mix in the run. First Barlow up against another great runner with Gilbert.

Interesting that Valley has only had one competitive game all year. anyone know anything about the quality of that league this year?

Will finally get to the Bethel Brookfield (rematch) game tomorrow that I missed on Thanksgiving because my dog almost died and ended up in his own hospital 5 days after I made an unplanned trip. What a week!

New Canaan rolls but the big news was the machine known as Arkeel Newsome and the 84, yes 84 points put up by St. Joes. They won't see as much clock in their next game but that's impressive.

I knew Newtown would lose to Ridgefield, they just didn't have the horses to compete with the FCIAC's 4th best team. Feel bad for them though. I could be wrong but it looks to me like New Canaan and Darien in the L final. New Canaan is the best team in the state if Cascione can stay healthy, if not then Darien could beat them. The Ansonia/Rocky Hill matchup looks interesting.
