Must have murdered someone. That's the only reason you walk on 12 million.

Wait, can anyone rule out mimicking the ol' tried-and-true Pimpin' Pitino Prostitutes, Nike-school for recruits, etc.? On the other hand, Anderson's walking away versus pulling a Tricky Rick and still chasing big dinero.

The hooker from Vegas, i.e., the Miami coach's g/f, has a video of him dressed as an Oregon duck.

Bizarre. Doesn't he owe it to his family to at least get some money? Take $3 million or $4 million, but nothing?

Seems like OSU had grounds to fire him with cause.

By letting him walk, they saved a protracted battle.

By walking, he saves face, keeps the skeletons in the closet and lives to earn another day.

Just a guess.

No idea. But what other scenario is there that explains this?

The beat guy who wrote the last two articles lays it out pretty well... there’s always an outside chance something bizarre comes out down the road that changes the narrative but it seems to have been building and he walked and didn’t string out his friend the AD or the school. Some people are just wired different than others.

Just a guess.

They should have paid him $1-$2 million, called it an undisclosed settlement and everyone would be happy. This is the worse outcome - people are always going to assume the worse.
