OT: One of Doug Bruno's best, | The Boneyard

OT: One of Doug Bruno's best,

I was thinking of this. Allie Quigley was in the W from the start, but she moved around teams, and it took a few years for her to stick. I think Held graduated 3 years ago or so. If she has a career like Quigley’s, she has a bright future ahead of her.

Doug Bruno was to women's basketball as the Meyers were to men's BB at DePaul. One of the coaches who did more with less for decades. One of the best coaches at tailoring his team play to suit their talent. He was an institution at DePaul and one of WCBB best coaches. He is missed, enjoy retirement Doug.

Maybe, but my daughter’s experience at the Doug Bruno camp was life changing. My son’s experience at Ray Meyer camp was the worst basketball experience he ever had. I would never compare the two favorably.
