Odell to Cleveland

They just clear a ton of cap space, I think. They are loading up on draft picks, so their future will be based on drafting and who they replace Eli with and how quickly?
This all means Eli has 2 seasons max left.

Saw an article earlier this week suggesting that the Browns were trying to make space for Odell and I dismissed it because it just seemed so unlikely. I never thought it would end well with him, but I also never thought it would end soon.

I hope there is a plan.

Narrator: There was no plan.

Pro tip: If you GM mocks analytics in 2018/19. Fire him.

We gotta stop calling it “analytics” it’s basic math at this point.

Of course without Odell, the defense can pay more attention to the other receivers. So much of this must be about off field distractions, injuries and cap space. I believe his deal was for $95 million, if I correctly recall.

The market isn't killed for OBJ they said. The Giants won't deal him for a terrible return they said.

It's like people haven't been paying attention to the same team

Imagine a world where his antics were clear the entire time he was there.
