Have I not been kicked enough lately as a Uconn fan. Who the hell would do something like this?

Karma. I told you not to blow up that ugly yellow "superfan" mailbox when you were 12.

Perhaps it is part of the university's program "rebrand" by getting rid of old logos. Might want to take the magnet off your car until we can be sure.

Some booster probably got a letter from Susan Herbst that said 'education is king, the rest is just silly'.

A lot of people south of New Haven are strictly Knicks fans, which is very sad.

A lot of people hate UConn in Connecticut. I know dozens. From BC grads to Calhoun haters to CCSU fans.

I could have just sent you a picture of my wife. The good thing is she leaves me be every UConn game and knows not to schedule Shot when a game is scheduled, plus we are a two car family. If its a funeral I'm apt to call the mortician to change it, if its a wedding I'll get there late, if its a birthday party I'll wait till next year, if its a church function I'll get up and go to the bathroom (at home), its like the mailman's code for me (pun intended).

As for the mailbox, I can't rule her out as she is prone to wield a weapon at my stubborn "I ain't doing Shot" UConn game watching ass.

They are the worst. Whenever you see a particularly harsh UConn comment in the Courant, it's usually a Central fan.

Brother Mouzone would handle business. Maybe we should send him on recruiting trips too so we can get some of these big names.

Also, people who live in CT and aren't UConn fans, should be exiled. Even if u went to another college, you grew up in CT

I used to feel a lot of hate towards Uconn from friends involved in inner city basketball (highschool, etc) around the state. Everyone felt that "their guy " should've been recruited or Calhoun overlooked a lot of Conn. kids. A lot of the other hate was probably from people that just didn't like Calhoun .

At the Fairfield game last year there were a ton of adult Fairfield fans. I couldn't help but wonder how one becomes a Fairfield fan, who would root against UConn. Have to be out-of-state alumni.

If there was one thing this program needs, it's more Douggie Wiggins!

I hear that. CT has a lot of good talent. I went to Wilbur Cross back when they were consistently a Top 10 in the state and was there when they were nationally ranked also, and I don't think 1 player got a look from Calhoun. I'm hoping Ollie is going to be the game changer on that. Especially if Ray Allen ends up on the coaching staff after he retires, which I've heard rumors of. Unfortunately however, CT never has GREAT talent in comparison to the rest of the nation and I don't blame Calhoun for aiming high as opposed to just settling for in state players. Drummond was the biggest recruit ever out of CT and decided to wait until he got to the NBA to play like people thought he could, instead of being soft like he was at UConn.

Who ever came out of Cross during JC's days that deserved a look? I'm guessing one or 2 but not many.......you have to go way back to get Cross players worthy of UConn and none of them even looked at Perno who was a grad!! Williamson's, Campbell, Thomas etc etc........no chance for Storrs
