is there an athletic department in the country more overrated than Michigan?

Football program is the worst in the country.

If you're going to make fun of a guy for having a little dirt on his face, you're going to want to make sure you're not hemorrhaging blood-tinged snot at the same time.
 
Michigan shared the title with Nebraska in 1997, so they have one football title in the last 67 years. I'm friends with a lot of Michigan guys they talk like they have the best program in college football and Bo Schembechler is the greatest coach ever, only problem is Bo Schembechler never won a national title.

NJIT has two losses to Lowell this season, AND they were blown out by Albany. Wow. On the hand, they took Marquette to the wire.

A couple weeks ago, people were raving here over Villanova's wins over Michigan and VCU. Those wins might not look so good at the end of the year.

It's kind of the equivalent of Texas celebrating a last second win over UConn. Are they going to be able to sell that at the end of the season if they have a middling B12 year?
 
NJIT went a couple of seasons without winning a single game, they have been known as the worst team in D1.

CBS must be thrilled with this 40 point rockfest of Wisconsin versus Marquette. Yeah, the fans are great, but the quality of ball is like the UConn-Yale game.

They are also the only D1 independent.
 
Atleast we can now say "Hey, every one else is doing it". Seriously, what does this say about syracuse. Who lost to michigan...

michigan loses to njit, green bay won on the road against 15 miami 68-53...virginia beat almighty shaka... and wisconsin won a shootout 49-38 against marquette...florida has fallen off the map and they play yale next at home... wvu the came out and bullied us bc they blitzed us with their style of play, other than the wvu we had the number 6 team in the nation beat without 2 of our starters, a defensive miscue, boat rolling his ankle and a last second three within 4 seconds texas pulled off the win... yale we were without purvis, calhoun, and a healthy boat and another last second three, no one has the experience to help boat out... our losses arent "bad" it's the way weve lost... we have to move on to the next game and start coming together

We lost to Yale. Yale. Yup, we were without Purvis and Calhoun and Boat was injured. But again, Yale. Who outrebounded us and had 13 offensive boards. That's a bad loss 100 times out of 100. And the sad thing is that we deserved to lose as we were thoroughly outhustled, outplayed, and looked apathetic. I'm all for the rah-rah stuff, but losing to Yale at Gampel is a bad, bad loss.
