Worth every penny. Nijaree's carried them to being one game from their first national championship (first for a Texas Tech women's program there since 1993) and their softball games will be a hot commodity next season. This year based on hype they sold out all season tickets within a week of them going on sale. No expected they'd be this good this quickly. The athletic department should make a very healthy return on the $1,000,000 investment they made.
