There are very few things that would cause me to annul my allegiance to one of my pro teams - a Calipari hire is one of them.

This is funny. No chance Calipari joins the Nets. Zero picks and a bloated cap in the near future. Cal could get a much better NBA gig if he wanted. Please apply just a tiny bit of common sense before considering this possibility (author, not OP).

That's gotta be the worst situation in the league. I can't see any tenured coach walking into that mess.

Unless the money is crazy. I can see the Nets owner throwing out crazy amounts of money. The trade with the Celtics was stupid.

Sorry Stair but this Brooklyn team and organization is ugly

I know. But I always stick by my teams. I lived through that godawful 2009-10 season that made the current 76ers look competent. 5-10 years from now there will hopefully be good things on the horizon.

Stair the were great when Dr J played for them.
Maybe they need to go back to the red white and blue basketball
I saw them comeback down 10 with a little over a minute to play.
The Dr hit 4 threes ( the ABA gave us the three)
1973-74 ABA champs and actually fun to watch.
Along with the Dr.
Super John Williamson
Larry Mr K Kennon
Billy The Big Whopper Paultz
and guard Brian Taylor ( he was a Princeton guy no nick name)

They played some great ball back then. I wish I'd been around to see it. The guys that got me into the team were JKidd, Vince Carter, and Richard Jefferson.
