For a couple of years now I've been wanting to put together an online sports platform that would be interactive and go live at times during the season but work and health issues have gotten in the way. Lately I've gotten motivated to complete the hardware buildout and it's almost complete. It's clear at this point I'm going to need some help to push this across the finish line.

What I'm looking for is a person or persons with knowledge soundboards or online broadcast experience to help troubleshoot my setup. Don't have to be a pro maybe some music or podcast background. Most importantly I need someone with knowledge of OBS Software. It could take me months to figure that out and I'd like to be testing in the next couple of weeks at most.

In the long run I'm probably not the right person to be driving this but for now I've made a small investment to get things started. When I consulted with a friend in web-design he looked at me and said "I see people". I looked around and saw only myself, but now it's time to reach out to you guys because ultimately this would be YOUR program in terms of what you'd like to see.

So it could be you or a friend or a son or daughter who knows gaming or podcasting. I've learned a lot but I'm still behind and really want to have some fun with this instead of staring at a lot of equiptment. I know there's been talk of doing something so here's your chance to contribute. I just want to facilitate this trial balloon.

Send me a PM if you're interested or have specific questions. Please also feed back on this thread because I want people to see it. I'm at work today but will be back at finishing the workspace tomorrow and this week.

Thanks - Jay

I have zero experience with OBS but I do have a degree in Computer Science & Engineering from New England's Top Public University and can sometimes learn software pretty quick so if you need a backup plan let me know!

Thanks - quick learners welcome. If you're even a little serious go on YouTube and Search "OBS Tutorial". Watch a couple of videos and if your head's not spinning drop me a line. I'm better at building PC's than video production/broadcast. There's some pretty good step-by-step material online but time is an issue.

Still moving forward though I'm stuck at work for the next 48. Would prefer some partners to make this a team effort but significant progress by this weekend.

I'll try to find some time this weekend to look at the tutorial stuff and see if I can help out. I also do stand-up comedy so I'd be a great on-air talent!

Well, "great" is probably overstating it.

Jim I have working knowledge of live and recording studio sound equipment (including up to 16 channel mixing) and a couple of different sound software packages (Qbase and Prosonus (sp?)). Don't know if that is of any use to you but if so please let me know.
