In 2015, ND will play BC at Fenway and a home against UMass. Plus, two games (now conference w/ ACC) at MetLife versus Syracuse. Normally, I do not believe in conspiracies; but, this looks to be a slap at UConn for not agreeing to play ND at Gillette and/or MetLife. Wasn’t there a rumor last year that UConn was looking at a ND game at Fenway?

Before the Big E exploded, I did not agree with UConn giving-up a home game at the Rent to play any team and the Michigan game showed that the Rent can be a great event. That said, due to UConn’s position in the American, the football program needs a ‘any team, anywhere’ mentality right now until UConn is (hopefully) saved from purgatory.
And, before anyone asks, I do not believe that this has anything to do with Diaco. Football schedules takes years to put together and he was hired just last week.
