I liked our opponent's cheerleaders who threw the pompoms into the megaphones for every made free throw. (Too bad I cant remember which team that was...)

The folks in the bands that travel with teams are scholarshiped but I think, aside from uniforms and transportation costs that the cheerleaders are not.

For band members, it depends on the school. Lots of schools provide some scholarship money, but nothing that matches what is given to athletes.

Actually this whole site is interesting and informative. UCMB was the first colligate band ever on national television and also the first to ever play in Europe!

Dr Mills and his staff are simply wonderful and good at what they do. It is a point of the group I attend football games with to always arrive early so we can set up next to the band. They are fun to be around and great representatives of the university.
