Well, they obviously feel like they have something because they are suspending him. To suspend the kid for half a freakin game is a JOKE! Wow, the NCAA looks like a bunch of fools right now. Either punish the kid legitimately or don't do anything. Pathetic.

Dez Bryant lost a whole year for having lunch with Deion.
AJ Green got 4 games for trading 1 jersey.

I read the title of this thread and, for a couple seconds, thought there might be some real penalties. Then I remembered this board's sense of humor and opinion of the NCAA and figured Manziel got a slap on the wrist.

In a way, I was relieved to find that the penalty was so light. Otherwise, I would have started to question how well I knew the BY.

Manziel lied about taking money. The NCAA, could have easily continued the investigation. They chose not to because it's SEC football.
