OT: NBA Rookie Player experience with big contract

Interesting interview with Josh Childress when he signed his 11 million dollar deal. He seems like he was wiser than his peers. Sad how many players under 25 years old think a million dollars is a lot of money and buy so many 'things' and end up broke. Short interview but informative:

He was the first dude to go to play in Europe before playing in Europe stopped being a thing. It probably had to do with the exchange rate. I think he signed a slightly smaller deal in Greece, but it was tax free and he had a house, car, driver, etc. provided for him.

This dude is very smart. For one, he maximized his earning potential given the talent he had. Good for him.
