That is a shame for the WNBA fans but hopefully good for her career in the long run. Maybe it pays more to be on the Belgian team than it does in the WNBA?

Monique Curry returns to DC (her birthplace) for the Mystics so the the sting is a little less, I guess. She had a good season last year despite her "advanced age".
