And the big deal is the Hope scholarship which takes monies from the lottery and is dedicated to any Georgia HS student with a 3.0 GPA or higher.. all public universities in the state including UGA, Georgia Tech are included.. as long as your kid maintains a 3.0 you pay no tuition.. just food and board..
