Hoping Lamb gets traded at this point. Brooks is a joke.

While I'm not saying he's not a joke, it's not like he orchestrated that trade. There is a GM involved.

Why do you assume that? Fisher is gone and Morrow replaces Sefolosha. Lamb will get playing time.

They lost Thabo and Fisher, they had to sign another guard/wing regardless, and Butler could possibly be out the picture as well. OKC had to sign a wing, no way they were going to be able to stand pat, Lambo should be fine.

If Jeremy can't beat out Anthony Morrow for playing time, my guess is that he doesn't deserve it. Come on guys, its Anthony Morrow.

Anthony Morrow is one of the best 3 point shooters in the NBA. There is always playing time for that.

Agreed. There is a role for that, and Morrow is just fine. Jeremy isn't in OKC to be a 3 point specialist. He shouldn't be pushed aside because of this signing.

He is going to have to earn his PT with consistent play. He'll be fine.

Absolutely no guarantee Morrow starts. I highly doubt it actually. Awful on defense so it's Lamb's job to lose at this point.

Knowing Brooks and his reputation for playing veterans over young players, I wouldn't be surprised to see Morrow play more than Jeremy next year, unfortunately.... Brooks is a dumbas s

You can't blame Brooks for Lamb, if he wants to play he needs to start playing better plain and simple. His job is to make shots, he needs to start doing that more. He's made 4 3s in 3 summer league games, that's not gonna cut it.

some notes here on Lamb in this Morrow article. I hope what Young writes is true and OKC goes back to utilizing Lamb in the PnR like they did for the 1st half of the season before they diminished his role to either spotting up in the corner or not playing at all.

Morrow’s fit within the second unit should be pretty seamless, with him finding minutes alongside Jackson and Lamb. Some have expressed worry that Morrow will step on Lamb’s toes, but Morrow is more of a specialist, a deadeye spot-up guy, while the Thunder see Lamb with more potential handling the ball. Derek Fisher was the unofficial third point guard last season, but really played far more shooting guard, and until Caron Butler was added, Lamb was firmly in the rotation. From everything I hear, the Thunder plan on handing Lamb a lot more time and responsibility this season.

Anthony Morrow is out for the next 4-6 weeks with a MCL sprain. With him and Durant injured, it is time for Lamb to impress.

I still want Lamb to get out of there, Brooks is a horrendous coach and OKC will turn into a dumpster fire quickly when Durant leaves.

Hope Lamb can step up. He had a game this preseason where he went 1-14 from the floor and another where he went 1-9. I believe in Jlamb

A prize recruit considers UConn and we all say they shouldn't fear playing time, as they have to compete. Some of us go on to say that if they are so scared of competition at their position then UConn isn't for them.

This is not true of our players after UConn?

Different when guys are getting paid to play. For one, there is so much talent in the league that you can get stuck behind a logjam far more easily. Then there's things like: sometimes guys get minutes just because they have big contracts. And if a guy doesn't get minutes is tough to get better because practice is so light during the season. If a guy doesn't get better and can't show (advertise) it during the year... Less likely to get a good contract.

And ultimately we want our guys to play as faves of the program. Good for recruiting.

At some point Lamb has to play himself onto the floor. He's been there three years, time to put up.
