You need a guard who likes to run. Chris Paul isn't that.If he's smart he'll pack his up and move it across the hall to Doc's office.
D'Antonio is better suited to coach the Clipper's sideshow once Coach Rivers makes a statement and takes his talents to a workplace that deserves and respects them.

Ollie: No, NBA hasn't called.
King: If the NBA called, would you answer?
Ollie: No, not now in my life. Like I say, I can't never say no--
King: Don't let me pick up the paper next week Kevin and it says, "Guess what? So and so has called and Kevin has accepted the call." There's no secret meetings?
Ollie: No. I'm just worried -- worried about my kids here at the University of Connecticut. I got three guys, four guys is going to graduate on time. I want to be there for their graduation. Actually, that's going to be even better than the national championship. ... I'm never going to say never, but I'm having so much fun. It's my dream job.

I doubt he's going, but I'd sure like to hear about his new contract soon
If KO gets the call he should offer up Calhoun instead. Imagine how hilarious the locker room exchanges between Nick "Swaggy P" Young and JC would be.
Recruits commit to the coach. It does the program little good for him to keep his name out there. If he allows rumors to persist, recruits will be hesitant. He has already generated enough NBA buzz through Lebron and KD for recruits to be happy.Ollie should milk this whole process. Let his name hang out there all much as possible. It only helps that the nba is talking about him all summer. Recruits love the flashy high profile coach. Works well for many others.
