Really painful watching Speith gagging and choking on the back nine. It looks like Willett gets the jacket although crack head still has an outside chance.
Jordan made quite a few loose swings in the last 4 days, got a few fortuitous bounces and had a few balls come within inches of disaster. He continually bailed himself out with transcendent putting. After he made 4 straight birdies on the front side he had a substantial lead (for the masters) and I suspect he started rehearsing his speech at the award ceremony. Never a wise thing to do.
Those who became bored and turned the tournament off when he had a 4 shot lead missed an exciting finish.
The final 9 at Augusta on Sunday almost always make for good TV. Swings of 5-10 shots are possible.
I agree that Jordan's swing was off. But so were Jason Day's and some others. And McIlroy and Johnson couldn't buy a putt. Golf can be an agonizing game.
