The first day tee times don't start till 10:00 a.m. our time....the site is in California.
Most important major of the year....deep field thanks to the international invasion.
Lydia Ko...19 years old...world #1. Brooke Henderson...18 years old...won the last major a couple of weeks
ago....hoping for an exciting finish on Sunday.
Only FoxSports1 is televising it....basically 3-7 every day.
I'm guessing that the LPGA big cheeses are hoping against hope for Michelle Wie to win it....that would add some USA sizzle to the tour. Last win was the Open in 2014...no top tens since. I saw that her coach David Leadbetter said a few weeks back that there were no injury problems....that her difficulties are all in her head. Whether true or not that isn't the type of comment that will endear him to Michelle.
