OT: Lavin

I'm sitting here watching the DePaul vs. St. John's showdown and am just dumbfounded by the tan that Lavin has. He's either going to a tanning booth or spray tanning. And everytime they show him on camera, he's running his hand through his hair. Is this guy really a basketball coach? Why would any kid want to play for him?

Didn't the dude have cancer? Maybe he thinks looking healthy might be a positive for recruiting?

That is probably true, but doesn't mean he knows how to coach though. He is not a good game day coach.

Fwiw, I think it was the cameras. I was at the game. He didn't look that way in person nor per-game press. Certainly looked blotchy on the video board though.

I watched the game, running his fingers through his hair was a nervous reaction to how the team was playing. ie bad shot or a TO. He is on a 5 game winning streak. Give him credit. For both the winning streak and his wife!!!!
