OT: Late round draft or FA?

Which is better, getting drafted in the later rounds or signing a free agent contract immediately after the draft? Are there more $$$ guarantees in either case? One reason for FA being better is that if you get multiple calls you can choose your best option. Thanks.

The money is not guaranteed in either case so technically the free agent contract is better as you have more flexibility in where you play.

By the time the 7th rolls around you are better off UDFA. You get to pick your spot and while teams will give a 5th rounder some leeway the 7ths are cannon fodder.
