Although this basketball year was not a great UConn year, the Boneyard has been my Internet home since the Fall of 2011, and it's been a good home. Good place to come for friendly chat, some conflict, a common interest, and some miscellaneous.

So thanks all for being a part of this, from which I've taken enjoyment, and I look forward to chatting it up with you boys, and huskynan and the other female, as we wind our way through summer and figure out where we are in the Fall.

It will, with no doubt whatsoever, be one of the most interesting 5 or 6 months in the history of the program, simply because there are more pending unknowns than there have ever been.

So. Thanks. This drink's for you, including the folks I've clashed with. Hell. Particularly for them - I don't hold Internet grudges.

In your previous incarnations, you were my number 1 "ignore" guy and your ranting posts drove me crazy. You have toned it down a great deal and have become a pretty darn good poster on the Boneyard. And don't go back to posts about oil, please.

Damn Prez, you posted a eulogy of sorts. At the end of each season the sentiments are always the same. Sometimes more sadder especially with early declarations (KEA, Rudy, Marcus and others). And yes you are right, we have new challenges and unknowns, but we are UConn dammit! We will survive and rise like never before. (Thanks for the Ray Lewis vid Fishy, its working already).

Unless death strikes, it will be the same people and the 'same old-same old' around here, even through the summer. New Year, Same Posters. So please wipe your tears, this is a man's sport , and we are all in this together, including our female posters. This summer and the next couple of seasons will be a journey that I look forward to, irrespective of the outcome. We have been 'too' spoiled with a sense of entitlement. Well its a new day and a new chapter in the same book. And the bandwagon I'm riding on is still moving forward to another championship........someday!
