Wow. What this judge is apparently not aware of is at UT, he pretty much cleaned house when he got to Austin, getting rid of these kinds of players. That was probably partly why he never had much success there, as his predecessor Mack Brown was willing to put up with this kind of behavior. Still, it looks like he has some more major housecleaning to do at USF.

What's so disheartening about these incidents (beyond the magnitude of their criminality and harm to their victims)) is the utter disregard these players have for their teammates and school.

I heard the judge and she wants Charlie to make sure the USF will be great on and off the field, so USF fans will be proud. The judge went there before the school had a football team.

I live in Tampa, attended USF grad school. Barely a blip on the news. It is unfortunate but the poor areas of Tampa around USF are a high crime area. There is so much wild crime in Tampa, surrounding areas, and Florida in general that there is a really short memory as the news will have a spectacular shoot out, alligator fight to the death, fire, deadly highway crash, or old people scam nightly. The news is like a highlight tv show of crime.

USF wants to win at all costs and takes its notes from FSU, UF, & SEC.

I am not sticking up for Coach Strong, but there have to be some personal responsibilities by the players/students.
