This is terribly sad news. I was fortunate enough to meet him a few times recently. He was every bit as much of a joy as he seemed, and full of life, curiosity, generosity and positive energy. Can't believe this. He had a lot of big things on the horizon, too.

Damn. Savor every moment.

Prayers for his family and co-workers. They must be devastated.

Sorry to hear the news. He was too young. Had a drink with him and Jesse Palmer before the Fiesta Bowl. He wasn't very friendly but made a funny joke about some hot young bartender being too old for him. Palmer was a really nice guy who talked to us about why he thought UConn had a chance to beat OK
